Podcast The Peel: Ep. 3 – Alex Holloway

Hello, listeners of The Peel. This week, we have a very special guest. It’s the very talented, Alex Holloway.

Alex has an extraordinarily diverse taste in music. We talk about his years growing up in Washington, what music he was exposed to and became passionate about. Further, we talk in depth about his passion for Jazz, as well as his experiences playing it.

Alex began playing bass in his high school Jazz band. He currently plays in the Jazz Combos for Brigham Young University-Idaho. He gives a little explanation in the episode about how Jazz “works.”

We talk to Alex about his time with The Clay Temples, and the experimental group Kilamantra.
