Hellogoodbye release S'only Natural - The Ennui Project

Hellogoodbye return with funky, full-length, “S’only Natural”

“It’s only natural
You wanna live downtown
Where you can be a little louder
And you’re still just getting drowned out
It’s only natural”

— Hellogoodbye, S’only Natural

S’only Natural

Hellogoodbye has released their fourth full-length album, “S’only Natural” on Alcopop! Records. The band has quietly promoted the album’s release since the record’s first single and music video (watch below) dropped in August of this year.

“S’only Natural” is a glistening, classy, almost disco-funk evolution for nerdy, indie-pop Hellogoodbye. The band’s comprising songwriter, Forrest Kline’s vocals remain at a whisper-like falsetto, over bright-poppy guitars, gentle-marching percussion, and groovy bass lines. Although the record mellows out as tracks progress, it maintains a level of sensual, scintillating intimacy that fans know, only Kline can achieve.

Kline described the album’s title track as, “A love letter to downtown at dusk and the potency of diversity it offers. When the sun sets on a busy city block, deep dim lights give way to big bright personalities. You need not hide in the city at night. You can be free in the city at night.”

“S’only Natural” is available for streaming and purchase on all major streaming platforms, as well as vinyl and direct download from the band’s website.
